We love to run. We know you do too. We also love Pilates and now we’ve combined our two loves to bring you a Pilates class specifically for runners.
Our Physiotherapist’s know running; through being runners themselves, committing to extra study in running analysis and biomechanics, and rehabilitating patients with running injuries. We want to help you become a stronger, more efficient runner.
At Flex we run a 6 week structured programme bringing a new focus to each class.
Expect to learn and consolidate your Pilates fundamentals as well as improve your mobility, flexibility and strength. We will target your gluteals, hamstrings and abdominals – all key areas to help you become a stronger runner.
Please read through the details below for further information and please do book in – we’d love to see you there.

How to book: You can book online here or call the clinic on 9670 7041 to reserve your spot – places are limited to just six clients each session.
Level: Beginner – Advanced, we can also accommodate those who have less Pilates experience or may be recovering from injury. Some Pilates experience and familiarity with the equipment is required – if you are an absolute beginner we recommend you come and do a one on one session first and a couple of small group classes in our clinic before you book into our runner’s classes.
What to wear, what to bring: Stretchy clothes, lycra is optional. No shoes required but we do ask that you wear socks. Pilates grip socks in a variety of cool designs are available to purchase from the clinic. A water bottle and small towel are also a good idea. We have change rooms on site but recommend you come ready to work out to save on time. You will work hard but we don’t anticipate you’ll be too sweaty to return to work. On site showers are not available.
What to expect: A challenging class that targets the muscle groups we utilise as runners. Expect to work your core, your glutes, hamstrings and adductors, improve your thoracic mobility and arm drive. Gain strength, improve power and feel more connected to your whole body.
Can I still book in even if I don’t run? Of course, we’d love to welcome you. We do however take no responsibility if you happen to develop a love of running after experiencing our classes.
