Naomi graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1996 and has 21 years experience working as a Physiotherapist in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She has a strong interest in treating all sports injuries, especially those relating to running. Naomi also particularly enjoys treating knee and hip injuries and chronic lumbar pain, especially in clients who have previously been unsuccessful in achieving resolution of their pain.

Ni’ia’s diverse career and completion of post graduate training in manual therapy, exercise prescription, clinical pilates and dry needling have equipped her with a large knowledge base and expert skill set for treating musculoskeletal conditions.

Ni'ia is an accomplished runner who has competed at national level and continues to regularly compete in middle distance running in Victoria. She is passionate about running and enjoys sharing her expertise on the management of running injuries and optimisation of running biomechanics.

Kate completed her Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2014 following the completion of her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2009 (Hons).

Kate has worked in private practice since 2010 with a special interest in treating runners and rowers. She has completed many courses to further her knowledge and experience including DMA Clinical Pilates Levels 1 – 4, Dry Needling, Optimising Biomechanics in Running and Cycling, Lower Limb Tendinopathy and Prevention of Running Injuries.

Fiona Samuel

Fiona completed a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2009, having previously studied BA/BSc at Monash University.  In 2015 Fiona became an APA Titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist, having completed a Masters of Manual Therapy.

In addition to these qualifications, Fiona has attended a number of courses including Dry Needling (Level 1 & 2), Treatment of the Lumbar Spine and Pelvis (Level 1 & 2), Mulligan Upper Quadrant (Neck and Shoulder), Hip & Groin in Sporting Athletes and a 5 day intensive introduction to Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She is a qualified Clinical Pilates instructor, completing APPI Matwork Pilates (Levels 1-3) and Equipment (Levels 1-4). Fiona has also been presenting APPI Clinical Pilates courses since 2012, teaching other physio’s the benefits of Clinical Pilates.

Anne graduated with honours from the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at The University of Melbourne after moving to Australia from Vancouver. Anne also completed a Bachelors of Kinesiology (Honours) in Canada where she gained further experience as a clinical exercise instructor in spin, strength and conditioning and functional programming.

Anne values professional development and has completed various courses including Dry Needling, APPI Clinical Pilates, ACL Rehabilitation, The Sporting Hamstring, and Tennis Elbow Management.

Anne has a special interest in treating spinal and sports injuries, particularly the knee after having torn both ACL’s herself. She has a holistic approach to treatment and uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. She is committed to developing rapport and trust among clients and enjoys promoting a collaborative approach to help clients through their rehabilitation to achieve personal health and fitness goals.

Natasha has completed her Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, Diploma of Remedial Massage and Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Broadening her area of expertise, she has also completed Dry Needling and Lymphatic Drainage courses.

Natasha brings to Flex her extensive experience in Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, Dry Needling, Deep Tissue Massage, Relaxation Massage and Pre/Postnatal Massage. She also has a special interest in treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) Disorder, headaches and neck pain, in addition to running based injuries.

Emma Reardon

Emma Reardon

Emma joined the Flex team in January 2017. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Science degree at University of Melbourne with a focus on health sciences, hoping to continue on to an allied health post-graduate degree.

Emma has previously worked in customer service and health education as a Team Leader at Community Health Advancement and Student Engagement.

She is passionate about community health and health education, previously volunteering for many organisations such as Nganagganawili Aboriginal Health Service, Home of Hope Orphanage in Cambodia and Deaf Children Australia.

Emma is a keen runner and swimmer and was previously a marathon Kayaker. She plays basketball socially and is also fluent in Auslan (Australian Sign Language).

Emma will be at reception to help arrange appointments as well as answer any questions or queries you may have.
